Additional production costs and why chopped nuts.

There are signifigant added costs to producing this product because the nuts have to be sent to a specialist miller to be nibbed (chopped), prior to mixing and packing. There are however several good reasons for doing so.

The overall nutty, savoury taste, is considerably enhanced because the nuts are evenly distributed throughout the mix. They are also easier to chew.

As the pieces are small, they are easier to digest, ensuring the body can more easily extract the nutrients and oils.

When used for making smoothies at home, the nuts (and seeds) are easily milled down to a fine powder. Whole nuts are much more difficult or impossible to mill in this way.

Finally, the ingredients and proportions in this mix have been carefully
researched to provide the most effective nutritional balance. Again, because they are evenly distributed, each helping has the correct amounts of selected ingredients.
